Don’t let money change the way we think and behave

Speaking of valuing money, most people can be very good at the technical valuing of money but only to be greedy and immoral due to accumulating money. Everyone has some money, some more than others, some much less than others.

It is often said that money is not the most important thing in the world. For many people, however, it is right up there next to the air in importance. When it comes down to it, money is the one thing everyone would like to have more of. But why? When you have money, you have a sense of power. You can buy whatever you want, in front of who you want, to show what you have.

Psychologists who study the impact of wealth and inequality on human behavior have found that money can powerfully influence our thoughts and actions in ways that we’re often not aware of, no matter our economic circumstances. The love of money is connected to forgetting who we are and what our life is all about. Since we have been created for a life beyond this one, hardwired for forever, it makes no sense to view life as being all about the pleasures, possessions, experiences, and power of the moment.

Money is not everything and there are other things that are more valuable in life. Everything has a price, but not everything should be for sale. Money can’t buy peace of mind, good friends, quality time with your family, time to relax, good health, happy memories, to name just a few. Many people are actually poor because the only thing they have is money.
